Sugarmill Woods Rotary Club presents their annual Signature Event
The Rotary Club of Sugarmill Woods Foundation, a 501(c)(3), partners up with the Citrus County Chronicle for a night full of fun, food, dancing and more. They are hosting their annual signature event in a very wild way. This year’s event, “It’s a Jungle Out There,” will take place in the private ballroom at the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park on Saturday, February 9th.
Raising Money for Local Charity
Each year, the Rotary Club of Sugarmill Woods puts on a signature event in order to raise money for local Citrus County charity projects. These fundraising events benefit the lives of our community’s citizens. Their chosen fundraising projects will help Lecanto Primary School, the Citrus County Food Bank, Hospice, We Care Food Pantry, college scholarships and more. Additionally, all donations they raise are tax deductible.
Event Details
“It’s A Jungle Out There” will take off at 6 P.M. and the venue will feature the wild jungle theme. The hosts encourage guests to dress in their best safari outfit or jungle animal costume. The atmosphere will be fun and relaxed with great entertainment for attendees. Tickets are only $50 per person. Your event ticket includes dinner and live music by the George Durham and Company band. Dance and sing the night away with your friends. Additionally, there will be a cash bar on site for alcoholic beverages. Guests can also participate to win a prize for the best “Tarzan Yell.”
Take Home the Memories
Furthermore, the Rotary Club of Sugarmill Woods are creating souvenir journals to commemorate the event. This journal is given to all event attendees. Also, advertisers who would like the opportunity to reach other local businesses, community organizations and individuals can sponsor a page.
